Our first game back was vs Brentwood who we know are a strong side but we went in with a positive mind and produced some lovely plays, like using Natasha Wynn on the left wing. After a long summer there were patches of rust with defensive rigidity not at the same level we have seen. Anabel Watson controlled the central defensive midfield well with some excellent passes that us midfielders could drive on to. We were unlucky not to get any shots at the back of the goal with many chances but can take this experience and improve for the next match.
